Report from NetApp Donor Drive
From Jan Stewart, Community Relations Manager
NetApp employees are proud to support the global effort to find a donor match for Nick Glasgow. As soon as we learned of his situation from one of our employees, Joel Reich, we took immediate action to hold an urgent global bone marrow registration drive for our 8,000 employees worldwide.
We’ve had a terrific response to our global bone marrow registration drive so far; 85 people registered at our drive in Sunnyvale yesterday, and we’re certain we’ve had many more people around the U.S. already register online. NetApp is covering the cost of all testing for our employees.
We also have employees around the world scheduling local drives in Israel, South Africa, and U.S. sites in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina; New York, NY and Chicago, Illinois at this time.
We are all hopeful and optimistic that together we can find a match for Nick as soon as possible.

Will there be a fee for the drive at Roy’s Station? The normal cost for tissue typing for the Be The Match Registry is $52.
There is no charge for minorities or mixed-race donors. Caucasians will be asked for a $25 donation to help defray the cost of lab processing.
Roy’s Station is working with the Asian-American Donor Program to host a bone marrow testing drive for Nick Glasgow on Saturday, May 30th between 11am and 2pm. We would appreciate it if you let people know and got the word out!
The testing will be held at:
